Sprite Tracker
A playful Fortnite companion that lets players track Sprites by season, mark what they found, mastered, and favorited, and keep progress without making account creation the first task.
Collection tools work best when the first interaction is delight, not registration.
PRODUCT CAPTURE
The primary working surface.Find every little friend.
Players needed a visual way to keep track of a growing collectible set without relying on notes, screenshots, or memory.
The product had to work instantly for a guest, while still supporting cloud sync for people who wanted a persistent collection.
The tracker needed to feel like part of the Sugarettes Café world rather than a generic database.
WHAT I BUILT
Not a concept deck.
A working system.
Season-aware collection views with search and filtering.
Independent Found, Mastered, and Favorite states so progress reflects how players actually collect.
Guest-first local persistence with optional member sync and merge behavior.
My Café collection views and printable/exportable tracking for players who want an offline reference.
SECONDARY CAPTURE
Another view of the product logic.Your favorites, all together.
DESIGN DECISIONS
The choices underneath the interface.
Guest first
The tracker works before sign-in. Accounts add continuity rather than permission to begin.
Model states independently
Favorite is not a progression stage, so it can coexist with Found or Mastered instead of being forced into one linear status.
Make utility feel collectible
Progress, badges, cards, and the Café framing turn a database interaction into something that feels closer to the game community it serves.
Small fan tools are excellent product-design laboratories: the use case is specific, the feedback loop is fast, and tiny interaction choices immediately affect whether the tool feels fun or tedious.
BUILD SOMETHING LIKE THIS

make sense and work?
I work with teams and founders on complex product systems, prototypes, workflows, and digital experiences — especially when the problem is bigger than a screen.
