Modernization — Screen Pop
Modernization project created in Figma. Highlighting user research and Figma prototypes.
PROJECT NOTES
At a glance
The challenge
Improve a legacy screen-pop experience used in active logistics workflows without disrupting the surrounding system behavior.
My role
My contribution
- Mapped users, contexts, pain points, questions, and opportunity areas
- Designed modernization concepts for Screen Pop / SPOR
- Worked across roles, permissions, states, and existing system constraints
Modernization Case Study Application: Screen Ring on Pop (SPOR)
The legacy application SPOR needed to be updated using the existing component library (Kendo). The existing functionality was to remain the same, pending any notes from architecture. Here is what I created and the steps I took to bring this modernized design to light.

Design detail 9
Started with capturing the existing functionality of the legacy app, interviewed and recorded how users utilize the app at present, any current pain points that we can solve with the updated design and/or any obsolete features.
Compiled research within the Figma document for ease of cross-communication with different development teams and changing Product Managers.
The resulting final modernized design of the SPOR application, using Kendo components.
