Strategy
Evolve the business beyond a blog.
In 2016–2017, I moved The Werk! Place from Blogger to WordPress, improved the display of multiple outfit images, and integrated LTK content, affiliate links, email signup, and a shoppable feed.
In 2026, I redesigned the primary experience in Showit with a magazine-style presentation. The ongoing shoppable YouTube and AI-assisted tools extend that work but are separate from the delivered site migration.
Design decisions
Migrate the experience, not just the pages.
I treated search, editorial content, press, social destinations, and shopping as connected routes through the brand. The migration needed to preserve those routes alongside the visual identity.
Design decisions
Connect editorial attention to shopping.
I refined the LTK shopping and shoppable-page touchpoints so product discovery could sit alongside the editorial experience. SOURCED explores a related video-to-commerce interaction model.
Delivery
Make handoff part of delivery.
The engagement included responsive QA, embed and modal refinements, redirects, and client handoff. A maintainable site needs a clear path for the owner to operate it after launch.
