THE LABBrowser-based visual creation

Createhers Studio

A visual website creation environment that gives Createhers a direct-manipulation editing layer without disconnecting the design system from the product underneath it.

WHY I MADE IT
A visual editor should feel as immediate as a design tool without turning the production website into a pile of ungoverned one-off decisions.

01

Traditional CMS controls are efficient for content but frustrating when the work is spatial, visual, and layout-driven.

02

Design tools are expressive, but the final production site usually lives somewhere else — creating a handoff gap every time something changes.

03

I wanted a Showit-like sense of direct manipulation with stronger product structure underneath it.

WHAT I BUILT

Not a concept deck.
A working system.

01

A centered visual canvas with page selection, layout controls, layers, and a live site preview.

02

Editable page-level and element-level styling for typography, backgrounds, imagery, overlays, and spacing.

03

Brand-aware controls so the editor uses the actual type, color, and component system rather than arbitrary styling.

04

A path toward editing every public page from the same environment instead of maintaining separate content and design tools.

SECONDARY CAPTURE

Another view of the product logic.

DESIGN DECISIONS

The choices underneath the interface.

01

Keep the canvas primary

The site stays in the middle and the controls orbit it. The interface should make the work itself feel like the product, not bury it under settings.

02

Expose power progressively

Common visual changes stay close to the surface while deeper layout and system controls can live in focused panels.

03

Honor the design system

Visual freedom is useful only if the resulting site still feels coherent. Brand typography, tokens, and reusable patterns stay connected to the editor.

06 · WHAT I LEARNED

The best visual builders are not simply drag-and-drop. They are opinionated bridges between expression and system integrity.

BUILD SOMETHING LIKE THIS

Need a product that has to
make sense and work?

I work with teams and founders on complex product systems, prototypes, workflows, and digital experiences — especially when the problem is bigger than a screen.
